Our mission is to inspire hope and provide assistance through peer support and harm reduction to women who have been sexually exploited.

Crack, heroin, and alcohol may have numbed “Tammy” from the effects of sexual exploitation, but the substance abuse kept her turning tricks to support her habit.  Your donations help people like Tammy who is now clean and sober, no longer being sexually exploited, and planning on entering college . . .

"I used to think I could never have a better life . . .  the one that seemed to be unreachable in some far away land. Thanks to the support of many compassionate women in the community, I was able to transform the destructive world I used to live in into a productive and enriched lifestyle with healthy choices.  As Program Coordinator for the CASH Program, I bring my unique history and experiences as a sex-work survivor to reach out to other women involved in prostitution and let them know they too can become empowered and exit the sex-industry".   Read my story on Oprah Angel Network, Ambassador of Hope:   http://www.oprah.com/spirit/Ambassadors-of-Hope-Oprahs-Angel-Network/5

Quotes from CASH Clients

"I became this evil, no good person.  It took some time before I came around but it has happened.  I came to CASH one night feeling one of my depression moods and feeling like I wanted to die. ..They [the staff] walked, talked and stood by my side in my lowest point in my life.  They saved my life."

Every man, every trick . . . I lost a part of my soul, of myself . .

I came to CASH and a staff member shared her story with me and I knew I wasn’t alone . . . I shared my story for the first time, I did not feel judged.  I left the first counseling session feeling I could not wait to go back and feeling safe, hopeful and excited.”

"I do not prostitute anymore since I've been clean and stay away from unsafe places that may trigger me, ... Today I am happier and healthier, C.A.S.H. is a good program ... we need it".

"The drop-in center has given me inspiration that prostitutes / drug addicts can change their lives ... You guys helped me in my decision making process ... I have eliminated my involvement in prostitution and drugs. When I was out there and hungry or needed clothing, or support ... I could come to CASH."

We are so grateful at CASH to be a part of this remarkable process of helping women
become empowered, free from the “fast lane” of sex-work and the victimization attached to sex trafficking and prostitution.
